Vestry Meeting Minutes

A meeting of the Parochial Church Council was held in the Church Hall on November 28/24. Present, the vicar in the chair, Mrs Richardson, Mrs W Kingham, Mrs Adams, Mrs White, Mrs Boswell, Mr Fritz Kingham, Miss Richards, Mr Claydon, Mr Sydney G Boswell.

The Minutes of last meeting were read, approved & signed. The chairman explained that the meeting had been called to borrow the £4.10 from the Piano Fund for payment of bill for draining the allotments. This was unanimously agreed to.

The Chairman reported that the organist had resigned. The Sec. was instructed to write to Miss C. Williams to express appreciation of her services.

Mr S. Boswell asked whether something could be done to improve the condition of the churchyard. The chairman said he would do his best - in conjunction with the churchwardens to arrange to have the ant-hills levelled & the hedges &c trimmed.
