Ilmer Parish Meeting Minutes
The Annual Parish Meeting was held in the Parish Room, Illmire, on Thursday March 2nd 1933 at 7 pm.
To appoint a Chairman for the ensuing year.
To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting
To nominate Parish Constables.
To pass accounts.
To consider issuing a Precept upon Rating Authority for the expenses of the Parish Meeting.
To consider any other Parish business.
Present:- Messrs Harry Goodchild, Thomas Tucker, Mrs Sophia Matthews and Robert Bailey (Clerk)
Chairman for this meeting. It was resolved that Mr Harry Goodchild take the chair for this meeting.
Chairman ensuing year Resolved that Mr George Gomme be re-appointed Chairman for the ensuing year.
Minutes Minutes of last meeting read and confirmed.
Parish Constables Messrs Harry Goodchild and Thomas Tucker were nominated to serve as Parish Constables for the ensuing year.
Accounts The Clerk presented the accounts of the Parish meeting and it was agreed that the accounts as paid to date by the Treasurer be approved and that he be authorised to pay any outstanding accounts, as they become due. Accounts paid to date were as follows:- Wycombe R.D Council Rates 1/2 year ending Sept 30: 1932 £1/5/6. Parrott & Coales Fire Insurance 15/-. Wycombe R.D Council Rates 1/2 year ending March 31st 1933 £1/7/5. Robert Bailey Audit Stamp 1931/32 5/-. Inland Revenue Sch A Tax £1/2/6.
Precept Proposed by Mr. H Goodchild seconded by Mr Tucker that a Precept be issued upon the Rating Authority for £3 (Three pounds) for General Expenses of the Parish Meeting to become payable on the 24th June 1933. Carried.
Railway Shelter. The Clerk was asked to communicate with the Railway Company with a view to getting a shelter erected at the Illmire Railway Halt.
Financial Statement The Financial Statement of accounts of the Parish Meeting for the year ending March 31st 1932 as certified by the District Auditor was laid before the meeting.
