Ilmer Parish Meeting Minutes

A Parish Meeting was held in the Parish Room Illmire on Monday October 24th 1921 at 7.15 pm.

To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting.
To elect an Assistant Overseer in the place of Mr. John B Bailey (deceased)

Present:- The Revd Wm Magee Tuke (Chairman) Messrs Thomas Bradshaw, Wm Claydon. Fritz Wm Kingham and Wm Kingham

Mr. Thomas Bradshaw moved and Mr Fritz Wm Kingham seconded a motion of sympathy to the Widow and family of the late Assistant Overseer with an expression of their appreciation of his loyal and faithful services to the Parish. Carried Unanimously.

The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

Proposed by Mr. Fritz Wm Kingham seconded by Mr Thomas Bradshaw that Mr Robert Bailey of Vine House, Church Street, Princes Risborough be appointed Assistant Overseer for the Parish at a salary of Eight pounds, six shillings per Annum. He to perform all such duties as appertain to and are incident to the office of an Overseer of the Poor and to give such security as the Board of Guardians may direct. Carried Unanimously.
