Ilmer Parish Meeting Minutes
A Parish Meeting was held in the Parish Room Illmire on Saturday October 8th 1921 at 6.30 pm.
To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting.
To consider the question of repairs needed to be done to a Bridge under the Bridleway leading from Illmire to Towersey. and Cold Harbour Farm.
To consider the question of repairs needed to be done to the Parish Cottages at Illmire.
To consider the question of Ownership of a Well at Illmire stated to be Parish Property.
Present:- The Revd Wm Magee Tuke (Chairman) Messrs. Alfred Hill, Fredk Ward George Gomme Thos Bradshaw Wm Claydon, Fritz Wm Kingham. A. Kingham and Wm Kingham.
The Minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed.
Proposed by Mr. George Gomme seconded by Mr. Wm Claydon that the question of the repairs needed to be done to the Bridge be referred to the District Council for their attention failing a satisfactory reply from them, the matter to be taken in hand by the Overseers to have the necessary repairs carried into effect. Carried.
Proposed by Mr Thomas Bradshaw seconded by Mr Wm Claydon that the Thatch, Well Cover, and floor in the cottage occupied by Mr. Wm Kingham be repaired subject to the condition that the whole of the cost should not exceed Five pounds. Carried.
Proposed by Mr Fritz William Kingham seconded by Mr George Gomme, that the matter of the Parish Well remain on the Table Carried.
