Ilmer Parish Meeting Minutes

A Parish Meeting was held in the Parish Room Illmire on February 28th 1920 at 6 pm.

Present:- The Revd W. O'Connor, Messrs George Kingham, Fritz W. Kingham, Wm Kingham, Wm Claydon and John B. Bailey (Asst Overseer)

The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

Proposed by Mr. George Kingham seconded by Mr. Fritz Wm Kingham that The Revd Wm O'Connor be elected Chairman for the ensuing year. Carried Unan:

Proposed by Mr. Fritz Wm Kingham seconded by Mr George Gomme that The Revd Wm O'Connor and Mr Alfred Hill be appointed Overseers of the Poor for the ensuing year. Carried

Proposed by Mr. Wm Claydon seconded by Mr. Wm Kingham that Messrs Fritz Wm Kingham and Thos Goodchild be re-appointed Parish Constables for the ensuing year. Carried

Proposed by Mr. George Gomme seconded by Mr. Wm Claydon that The Revd Wm O'Connor be appointed Treasurer of the Parish Meeting Carried.

Proposed by Mr. Fritz Wm Kingham seconded by Mr. Wm Claydon that a Precept for £12 be issued upon the Overseers for the expenses of the Parish Meeting Carried

Proposed by The Revd Wm O'Connor seconded by Mr George Gomme that The Assistant Overseer be asked to ascertain as to what repairs are necessary to be done to the Parish Cottages, and to have the necessary repairs carried out. Carried.
