Ilmer Parish Meeting Minutes

A Parish Meeting, duly announced, was held in the Parish Room, Illmire, on the 30th of August, 1919, at 7 p.m.

Present - the Rev. W. O'Connor (in the chair), Mr. Alfred Hill, and Mr. John B. Bailey, Assistant Overseer.

The first item on the Minutes was as follows:- "To issue a Precept for expenditure on repairs". As there was no communication from Mr. G. Gomme before the meeting, the matter was postponed.

It was agreed that in accordance with the Auditor's recommendation the payment of "journey money" to the Assistant Overseer should be discontinued, and the amount usually payable on this account, namely £2, should be added to his salary, making it £8-6-0 (eight pounds six shillings).

The meeting then terminated.
