Vestry Meeting Minutes
Ilmer Parish. The Easter Vestry meeting was held in the Vicarage Cottage, on Tuesday the 29th day of March 1921 at 6 p.m. There were present - The Rev. W.M. Tuke, Vicar, in the chair, Mr Fritz W. Kingham, churchwarden, Mrs F.W. Kingham.
The churchwardens accounts for Church Expenses were presented as follows: Coal £1.11.8, New Prayer Book 12.6, Wine 4/-, Washing 1/6, oil & candles 3/6, 2 new bolts for Bell 1/4, organist £2.10, Bell ringer £1, Cleaning Church £3, Insurance Premium in Hale 3/-, Total £9.7.0. Receipts £10.4.2. Balance in hand 12/10. Special contributions amounted to £2.6.2.
The Chairman reported that the Rev W. O'Connor had handed over to him a cheque of £10.18.5 belonging to the Ilmer Close fund for church Repairs, also a sum of £4.10.5 belonging to the Ilmer Piano Fund.
The vicar spoke of the condition of the ancient font cover and intimated that he had asked an expert from London to inspect & report. The expenses to be charged to the Ilmer Close fund.
Mr. Fritz W. Kingham was nominated as Vicar's churchwarden for the ensuing year & agreed to accept office.
