Ilmer Parish Meeting Minutes

A Meeting was held on Mar 10th 1914 at 7pm.

There were present the Rev H.M. Gorham in the chair, Messrs Albert Goodchild, Thomas Goodchild A W. Hill, Richardson. W. Kingham. George Kingham.

Mr Hill & Mr Goodchild, elected overseers, Propd George Kingham, seconded W. Kingham.

Mr A. Goodchild & Rev H.M. Gorham proposed & seconded that Mr Walker's bill for the bridges be paid, as soon as some loads of earth for filling in be supplied.

Mr Thos. Goodchild & Mr FW Kingham proposed by Mr Albert Goodchild, seconded by Rev H.M. Gorham were elected Parish Constables for the ensuing year

A vote of thanks to Mr George Kingham for his service as overseer propd by Rev H.M. Gorham seconded by Albert Goodchild.

That the Closet at Close End Cottages be made satisfactory done anew on new principles & that the meeting empowers the overseers to have the work carried out & to pay for the same.

Mr Kingham produced the Parish Rate a/c and showed that it was audited to Oct 1913.

Rev H M Gorham was elected Chairman on proposal of Mr Alb Goodchild, seconded by Mr Thos Goodchild for ensuing year.
