Ilmer Parish Meeting Minutes

A Meeting was held in the Parish Room at 7pm on Monday the 25th March.

There were present Messrs A Goodchild T Goodchild G. Kingham, F. Kingham G. Gomme. A. Hill. Rev H.M. Gorham

The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.

On the proposal of Mr G Kingham seconded by Mr T Goodchild the Rev H M Gorham was elected Chairman.

A proposal by Mr G Gomme seconded by Mr F Kingham that Messrs G Kingham and A Goodchild be elected overseers of the Parish for the ensuing year was carried nem. con.

Messrs Thos Goodchild and FW Kingham were re-elected parish Constables.

It was proposed by Mr T Goodchild seconded by Mr A Goodchild that two sets of staves handcuffs & be supplied to the Constable at the cost of the Parish & carried unan.

Mr G Gomme tendered for foot Bridges, the 15 bridges to cost £14. After some discussion, it was resolved on the proposal of Mr A Goodchild, seconded by Mr Hill, that a further tender should be invited from Mr Walker of Longwick, and when this was received, a meeting should be called to consider the two tenders.

The Meeting then terminated.
